Our Service Agreement
On this page we have described the basic assumptions and agreements we like to have with our patients. These policies have developed over more than 25 years of experience with what works and what does not, in providing you the best service. These policies represent our commitment to you. We hope you will read through this document and agree to commit yourself to being a full and active partner in restoring and maintaining your health. You will be given the opportunity to formalize your commitment by signing a printed version at your first visit.

Payment Policies
We require payment in full at the time of service. For your convenience we accept the following types of payment: Cash, Check, Visa, and MasterCard.
We will ask your commitment to your scheduled visits.

In order to preserve our availability for timely and focused patient visits, we require the following:
That all new patients provide a valid credit card number, with the understanding we will bill this credit card for the cost of missed appointments.

To avoid being charged for a scheduled visit you cannot make, you will give us 24 hour advance notice for every 30 minutes scheduled. In other words, to reschedule a 90 minute visit without charge, we require 72 hours notice; a 60 minute visit, 48 hours notice, and for a typical 30 to 45 minute return visit, 24 hours notice.

If you need to make payment arrangements you can do so by agreeing to and signing a payment plan at the time of visit. All payment plan arrangements must be followed through with or the timeline described below for failure to pay will apply to your account. We reserve the right to agree or not to payment plans, as they are not a guaranteed service of our clinic.

After 30 days of the first bill a finance charge will begin to apply to the account. After 60 days of non-payment notice will be given of collection procedures pending. At 90 days the account will be turned over to Quick Collect, our collection agency.

There will be a 100% of services fee charged for all cancellations of appointment with less that 24 hours notice or no shows.

About Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance
At this time, federal programs such as Medicare and Medicaid do not reimburse for naturopathic medical services. However, many private insurance companies have policies that do cover the care you receive from Dr. Dunne. Whether your particular policy is one that has such coverage is a detail you can learn from your insurance agent. Our office does not have access to that information.

Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. Because the administrative cost of managing that relationship for you would significantly increase our patient fees, we do not bill insurance companies for the services we provide. To assist you in your relationship with your insurance company, we provide a ’superbill”. This document contains the diagnostic codes and other information about Dr. Dunne that your insurer will require to reimburse you for covered services.
